A great way to make a performance better is to have them talking more than you during the meeting. Did I talk over them? How are my questions? Were they in a good sequence or did I bounce? Did I build up rapport before I had an ask? Was the ask reasonable? Were I picking up on their cues? All of those things. And I think if you want to be great at sales, you've got to become great at sales.
