The Paradox of Mr. Downer

Shelby Downer was a poet Maldie at that time in his life. He had tremendous compassion on Ted Kuzinski, who both Mr. Downer and I both agreed should not have been executed for the Unabomber attacks. Shelby also explored American Southwest in its monumentalism; he did New Mexico just like Norman Saxon would do.
