Quaker Settlements in North America
In some ways, it sees the achievement of their long campaign for toleration. They register many meeting houses more systematically than any other denomination. By the later half of the 17th century, Quakers are colonizing North America in huge numbers. The Quaker meeting houses in London and the monthly meetings are enabling a whole network, a sort of virtual community across the globe.
