David Bianculli: I love what it says about our civil liberties and free speech rights in this country. If you believe that this is odious speech to not be willing to make a website for someone's wedding, their happiest day because they're gay, because they're marrying someone of the same gender? That's also protected. And that's where I wanted to hear from Justice Kagan. She said she was disappointed in the dissent mainly for this line. The court grants a business open to the public a constitutional right to refuse to serve members of a protected class.That's an easily misinterpreted statement.
