The Holy Spirit Gives Life the Flushes of No Veil
In John 663, Jesus says that the spirit gives life the flushes of no veil. We would take that line as saying that we need to understand the Eucharist from the perspective of faith and reason alone. If it's all just spiritual, if it's all kind of like, yeah, you know, okay, it's kind of a nice idea. Yeah, Jesus' life, his flesh is life. And I was reading this week on his treatment of spiritual communion that he says it has the same effects, although maybe in a certain natural imperfectness as physical communion.
