This is from the shaman secret survey filled out by a trans woman who calls herself hep. She identifies as gay and she specifies under the gay trans woman interested in women says that she was raised in a pretty dysfunctional environment. Growing up my mother was struggling with bipolar and was not receiving treatment until I was about 13. Before treatment she could be incredibly mean and hurtful but also at times just wonderful. Now she is the sweetest person I know and so loving. It took me a long time to come to terms with the past abuse and who she is now but I'm grateful I have. Oh my god can I even begin to tell you how much I love that. Darkest thoughts.
