Ando: I'm very focussed on one thing at any one point in time. When we were building hay for two years, it was more or less exclusively what i was focused on. Ruby, and rails, for me has been very much like this. He gets into these very intensive periods of improvement, usually leading up to a new release. We're gearing up for the release of rail seven. Ando: To make that kind of progress, i do need that focus, and it needs to be long stretches of uninterrupted time. That i can sit down and spend four hours in a row working on tackling a hard problem in rails because i'm gearing up for a big release.
