How to Meditate in a Different Way
Prayer is a prayer asking the universe, whatever it is you believe is a power other than yourself to bring the crowbar and open your mind. The people from the East brought those that vocabulary to us in the 50s and the 60s but their language was not English. And they didn't look it up in a dictionary that actually was accurate,. because they called it meditation, what they do and it's not. It's contemplation. A very different process. I have since 1989 incorporated contemplation into my step 11 practice of meditation. Please use the set aside prayer that was begun with. God bless them.
