The Church's Decision to Disassociate From a Russian Orthodox Church Priest
The security service has accused these employees of spying for Ukrainian military intelligence. The FSB also claimed in a statement that it was the same group which was involved in plans to blow up transport infrastructure such as railway lines used to supply Russian forces in Ukraine. A recent study found that 58% of Ukrainians felt positive or neutral towards their LGBT compatriots. Even figures in Ukraine associated with more conservative values are now supporting LGBT legislation in the country. And over the last decade as Ukrainian activists strengthened democracy they have embraced more Western European values.
