In 1806, Napoleon captured Berlin after destroying the Prussian army at Jena and Arsted. Still, it was the reactionary Hohenzölren who had in the end ruled Berlin for 500 years or 600 years. It's because of them much of the enlightenment, past Prussia by, has been passed on to Berliners. In that time, there was this continued obedience, that we have to follow our very strong rulers.
