The Behavior of the Mun System

Anxiety is generally an adaptive emotion or fear, it causes us toback off and keep ourselves safe. And so we we need to have evolved a psychological system for detecting cues to infection. The behavior of the mune system relies on cues toin ation, or accused to disgust. So bodily secretions, flam saliva, feces, urine, they trigger disgust reactions. But there are individual differences in the degree to which that system is activated.
