The Origins of Indo-European Languages

The Kurgen hypothesis suggests that a Proto-Indo-European homeland generated migrations towards Europe and Natalia. The Pontic-Caspian steppe is the most popular place among scholars for the origin of horse domestication. There are many theories on the table regarding a place of origin but we can go back to studying languages to gain an idea about the likely splits and migrations. To demonstrate how this study can be conducted we can take a look at the word father and how the word is said in different Indo-European languages.
