The Computational Capacity of Matter

The computational capacity of matter in the universe is enormous. Even if you turned all of the earth into a computer, you'd still be at the point of being able to get to grips with this one company. But you would be a paperclip optimizer, just converting the entire person to computer to barely keep up with yourself. I wanted to put on a Halloween record and just kind of chill out with that thought. It's really interesting.
