The Importance of Permanence
In Buddhism the law of impermanence is called the law of change in becoming. This isn't a magic trick. It's a fact of life. In Japan right now, right now, this week, cherry blossoms are blossoming everywhere. We rely on an unimpermanent stoneway. I mean that cold that you have, you know, it's going to go away. And that really boring dinner party will eventually come to an end and even trees have to burn down for the forest to survive.
