The Role of Education in American History
The main place where I've seen blue states engaging is on the issue of gender-affirming care. It's actually really mirrored a lot of what we've seen with abortion. Minnesota has particularly focused on this. They're explicitly saying, okay, all these red states say you can't go there. Well, you can come to Minnesota and be protected. And that was wrapped up with protections for abortion. So it seems like those two issues because they're being restricted in similar places are turning into these cultural and partisan flashpoints.
