I'm very much motivated by the things that scare me. They seem to direct the things that are worth doing in this all too short life. How often do you interact with our friendly friends at the police departments of various locations? I try to avoid the friendly police people all over the world as much as possible, but in some instances it's important to be proactive and make sure that they know what you're doing before you do it. For example, working in Northern Yemen, you couldn't film for five minutes if you didn't have paperwork because you'd be taken away.
