Is It Better Than Ever?

I would say that it's difficult to go back in time and find an era where humans haven't been as safe, secure, comfortable as they are now. We're also living a life which is the least like the one we grew up in ancestrally. So maybe it's better than ever. But what do you want to say? Let's roll back all of the advances that we've had in medicine and in climate control and everything... but at least I wouldn't deal with my existential crisis anymore. That's also probably not a particularly good position to be in.
