The Dobbs Majority and the Supreme Court's Decision on Abortion

For now, it's as if the lawsuit didn't happen. And that also includes things like telemedicine consultations for medication abortions. But all of this is just temporary. This is just deciding nothing has to change, but the Fifth Circuit is still going to consider the underlying lawsuit. The Fifth Circuit will have oral arguments in that case on May 17. Most people think that this will almost certainly end up back at the Supreme Court as a regular case for the next term.
