Guideline Directed Medical Therapy and Heart Failure Exacerbation

When patients come in with a heart failure exacerbation, I imagine guideline directed medical therapy gets held far more often than it should. There's plenty of evidence out there supporting that withdrawing this, you know, GDMP during hospitalization is worse in the long term. So really, pre-existing guideline directed medical Therapy should be continued and optimized unless contraindicated.
