The Future of Discovery-Based Platforms

The Supreme Court is considering a case for decision next year, Ronaldo Gonzalez v. Google. If the court rules in favor of the plaintiff, it will mean that these platforms are liable for everything their algorithm does and makes silent or makes salient. It would utterly transform really all of the internet, but especially these discovery-based platforms.
