The Effect of the Passion Narrative on Christian Communities of Faith

I think the cosmological question is so highly speculative especially when the world is falling apart. I think a better or more effective question would be to does that narrative have efficacy in communities of faith. Some people see the story as a way of a final confrontation with evil and domination. Others sees that as permission to dominate others who are not like them. So I think there's a really a mixed review of how that story has functioned. And what theologians are trying to do is to make it less.
