The James Webb Space Telescope
The james webb space telescope launched christmas day 20 21, and hurtled away from the planet. One image released this week shows a field of stars in the large magellanic cloud. That's a satellite galaxy about 150 thousand light years away that orbits the milky way. The big thing for me in the last year has been just how inured we've become to death, but we just don't pay attention to it any more. I think yet tats something when we look back at the pandemic, that's going to be a big moment.
