Introduction
During the first wave of the pandemic, one of the biggest stories in the news was the carnage inside long term care homes. Seniors were among the most vulnerable groups to covi 19 and before the vaccine,. thousands of them died in outbreaks and facilities across the country. A coroner's inquest has been looking into exactly happened at seven long-term care homes where things got so bad that the military was called in for help. My colleague, teton, has been following me est and he's on the show to talk about what needs to change to prevent this from happening again.
