I want two things at the same time. How do you deal with that? One of the things I do want to say is there are real material consequences for the choices we're making. The more I'm thinking about intrinsic motivations, things that are within my control, my passions, my interests, my curiosities, these will almost always lead to deeper immersion and better quality work.
