The Pandemic Is Better Than Disease

In late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, progressives like widro wilson believed that the american government was incapable of addressing complex challenges. This belief gave rise to the administrative state we have to day. They believed that experts, rather than legislators, could better steer the ship of state. As we all have seen, efforts to address the pandemic necessarily other critically important interests,. such as the economy, the education of children, the mental and emotional health of the American people. It takes elected leaders, legislators, governors, to see the big picture and respond accordingly.
