AI and the Sixth Most Important Problem

Some people say it's an abuse of terminology to call a computer program intelligent, even if its outputs are consistent with it in some respects indistinguishable from the operation of a human mind. And I'm deferring the deeper questions about what does it all mean man to a different discussion. One of the standard worries again, we're deferring for right now. The existential threat stuff. But one of the concerns is that as these AI systems continue to improve in intelligence, they are rendering more and more types of human labor obsolete.
