Is the Crucifixion a Paradime of Divine Benevolence?
In the new testament, there are key points in which the motives you find in christ, for the crucifixion, are held up as a model for the motives that we should have. The cross is being held up as the paradime of a benevolent act that we should imitate. And it doesn't seem like christ is dying for self interested sen especially when you look at differet biblical passages,. where it's quite clear the reason he did it was for you and for your sake.
