The Silence of Life
We have Ambrose and his conversion reading and silence. And we have a conversation between Augustine and Monica. That reaches a point just lightly close to the self saying in which they stop talking. So I'll continue. If there was other silence from everything which exists only to pass away for if one can hear them these all say we did not make ourselves. He made us that abide with forever. But suppose that having said this and directed our attention to him that made them too were to become hushed. They too were to speak. Not by their voice, but in his own."
