LZ: The people that are freaking out, I would posit to them that whatever you're trying to solve for can be solved in a race neutral way. He says if Harvard has a poor white student who grows up in Appalachia and a wealthy black student who goes to a Manhattan prep school, the former is arguably more diverse than the latter. lz: It's not some poor guy in Appalachia's fault that he's poor and white, like that guy had a bum deck too.
