The Effect of the No Tipping Movement on the Restaurant Industry
When Fawn went back to tipping, did you lower your prices? We did. Yeah, we immediately lowered them by about that 20%. Of course, when you do all the math with the payroll taxes and all these things, our bottom line increased by more than that 20%. I kind of didn't want it to be the case, but it was the case that it made business work in ways that it just wasn't before that critical moment for us. That was in 2018.
