Top Gun Maverick is not a good movie, right? Like you don't go to Top Gun for the in-depth plot or the character development. And that is not the case with Top Gun Maverick. I mean, there's one scene where they're like on a beach playing football, but it's not nearly as homo erotic as the beach volleyball scene in the original. Flight sequences in the original Top Gun are largely inscrutable, honestly. It just looks like stock footage of airplanes flying around.
