CHAPTER

Kuiper's Social Theory

Kuiper argued that God in creation has ordained instituted a plurality of communities, institutions, associations necessary for human flourishing. These are rooted in creation order not all given in the original creation but somehow arising out of that which is given in creation and that they have an enduring purguring importance for human life. So there's a whole slew so to speak of important social institutions that stand between the state and the individual. They're really primary sites of human flourishing and also therefore of Christian action.
