CHAPTER

Is Everything Affecting Everything?

These days to say that everything affects everything else is now itself a radical or subversive statement. An example of this would be the contrast between the response to climate change and the response to coronavirus while states have mobilized in a massive way for coronavirus. They are not mobilizing in nearly the same way to respond to climate change though there are accidental ways in which responding to coronav virus shapes the world's response to climatechange. There isn't the same level of direct response to climateChange because it's not as seemingly direct a threat and the media is not talking about it every day in the same terms that it talks about coronav Virus.
