Why Do We Give Our Leaders So Much Credibility?

Most governments start out religiously. There is actually a religious tie to that leadership. But overtime, what usually happens is the religious part of it and the secular part of it have to separate. And when it does, that can tend to cause conflicts and problems. So i think it's about power. You know, if there were 20 of us on an island, no one can really respect my authority unless it comes from something that we all agree on.
