The American Healthcare System Is Failing Black Women

Every day 137 black women die from a preventable heart disease, that's every 11 minutes. 82% of black women are over a healthy weight right now, 53% of us are obese. Every day, it is roughly the amount of people that were on my plane from New Jersey to Vancouver. Can you imagine that? A plane filled with black women crashing to the ground every day and no one is talking about it.
