M m t says that the government has unlimited spending capacity because it controls the supply of money. This is different from traditional economics, which is focused on how do you pay for it? There are times when using inflation as a source of fiscal financing is the best policy to pursuea - but we would never say that the only way to finance spending is by printing new currencyy.
