Introduction

Robert K. Elder is the CEO and president of Outrider Foundation, which supports journalism about climate change and nuclear risk. He introduces Scott D. Sagan, a political science professor at Stanford University who has written several books on nuclear issues. The conference will also include office hours for both Carl Robishow and Rose Gottmuller from 2 to 3 p.m., 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tomorrow there'll be a speed meeting with people interested in this issue between 11 and noon.
