The Fear of Teaching at UVM

At a state university, I should say you get paid a pittance. There are some places that pay better. And when you were a TA, I was like terrified because what that meant at UVM didn't mean I was assisting another teacher as that Todd assistant. No, that would have been a lot easier for me. What it meant is you're teaching your own class. You're the solo instructor in the room. So I went from being an undergraduate, and it was a real confrontation with, with castration because like, you, like, they don't want to teach Shakespeare anymore.
