The police stake out the specified ransom drop off and nothing happens. Then about a week later, a fire breaks out at the Glee Co headquarters. It's presumed to be the work of the same people who abducted a Zaki. The monster with 21 faces openly taunts the police for being so bad at their job. Even starts threatening the poison Glee Co products.
