Are We Going to Have Low Fertility?
The idea that humans are breeding ourselves into extinction has been around since the late 19 sixties. But now we're at a unique moment in history, when all of our population is headed towards low fertility. And so you can't assume food production will be lennear forever, because we have seen technology give us greater yields. I think they've shifted permanently to low fertility, okay, this is where they are.
