The Importance of Passion in Early Career Research
Passion in intellectual curiosity, the desire to know and to learn something is really important. A typical doctoral degree program takes anywhere between three to four years of study. That's a very long time to be spending on one topic. And so if you're not burning for this, and if you don't have a passion for whatever topic you choose into research, I think that's just incredibly difficult to sustain.
