Varnishing a Textured Painting

The environment can cause the dry time to take longer and for it to have a little bit more tacky stickiness. The gamvar brush has a specific softness to the bristles so that it can get into all those little nooks and crannies when you have an impasto textured valleys or really heavy application. Having some paper towels or a rag candy is really helpful for textured artwork because you want to make sure that there's no pooling or collecting and excess.
