When i write a short story, i'm often engaging in the form of catarsis. And what i'm always trying to play with is mental illness, mental health, parana, absurdity. I like to be adhere to the structures of reality and play instead with paranoia and anxiety. So all that is focking mad, that's bunkers, but it never actually happens in reality. It doesn't happen in the reality of my story. My story is firmly grounded in the rules of actual reality. Any of the madness that occurs on the page happens in the mind of one of the characters. And we the reader don't know whether to believe him or not. so i never use
