The Fourteenth Amendment and Voting Rights
Section two of the fourteenth amendment grants the ability to take away representatives from states who deny the vote to people within their state. No one has ever tried to enforce this in any way since its implementation, is my understanding. There's been some academic writing about it that basically says, well, i guess you could maybe do it, but who knows how write a? It seems like something worth talking about when we're talking about voting rights,. Then then you don't get representatives right right there in the constitution.
