The reason why I brought that tweet in is there are people now just now upgrading to something that has already been end of life. Java 11, released on September 2018, four years ago, ballpark. Active support for Java 8 expired last March 2022,. There is security support through the end of 2030. But here's where it gets worse. You can now not upgrade for next 10 years.
