The biggest hurdle that most people come across is time. A lot of people are working Monday through Friday and they don't have the flexibility or the capacity to homeschool their children. For me, a traditional school day, maybe three times a week, balanced with two days at home, would be an optimal ratio. But you just can't find that really these days.
