After the first i interrupteu, it was focused on basite prize money for charitable improvements and relatively high dollar amounts of brak lie high cost of subscription fees. What happens is that essentialy almost dies, because people get less and less interested in being members. It loses some of that prestige, maybe because it gets cheaper, adcertainly because there's alot more competition for other societies. So they hive off. They kind of have this decline membership, and they decide to become much more lectorative. They create as councils. They elect a council to do the avnad stuff for them, and they pivot in terms of activity towards exhibitions. And from napoleon's time onward
