Our thoughts about the anxiety are a powerful anxiety agent of our anxiety as well. What's happening there is that, let's say we're sleep deprived, or we drank more coffee, or we're hung over and our body gets tripped into a stress response. Our brain always loves to swoop in and tell us a story to explain those physical sensations. And it tells us, you know, i'm anxious about work,  anxiety about this relationship, i’m anxious about the world. But none of those things are untrue. They're all founded in reality.
