The Importance of Quietness
I think in 500 years we can make a really beautiful island for ourselves. building schools again 25 years to learn one another's language and culture 50 years of an economic program to write the disparities. Howard Zinn who died last year wrote this about the world don't give up your hope because you need to understand its utter unpredictability. There is some eternal round of beauty and birth that we see in a spring day like this which continues in spite of all the difficulties in our life or in the world.
