How do you build trust in those first few minutes with a potential source? I showed genuine interest in people's lives. Everyone's life is really interesting, everyone has a story. You've got to tell them of your... I feel like this today, for this reason. Something's about happening in my life. Be vulnerable. If you are vulnerable, you can develop trust because people see you're a real person. It's developing real human bonds and real bonds of affection for somebody who might be risking their entire career or jail term to speak to you.
